Vienna, 1832: a young pastry apprentice named Franz Sacher accidentally created one of the most iconic chocolate cakes in history. Our Sacher cake honours that legacy: a dense cocoa sponge layered with a thin coat of apricot jam for brightness and balance, wrapped in a glossy dark chocolate ganache.
